Inspiring Sports Videos - followed by great discussions.
Today we watched The Ridge with Danny MacAskill cycling on the Isle of Skye. We used describing words to talk about the landscape, feelings and Danny's character. Tonight for homework we are going to watch https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=danny+macaskill+cascadia
and talk about it at home.
School Tour Fun
For our school tour we went to the University of Limerick Adventure World Sports Camp. We went swimming, kayaking and jumped on bouncy castles that were an obstacle course too. Everyone had a great time figuring out the riddles for orienteering. The wrecking ball was really exciting. It was tricky trying to balance! The disco dome was full of lights and music. It had a magical atmosphere inside while we bounced around. The spongee polo was quite a challenge trying keeping the ball. On the way home some people were very tired after an amazing and fun day.
