Welcome Back!
A huge welcome back to Frank, Kevin, John, James, Timmy and Sam. We have missed you all and are so excited to see you all again.
We all have different feelings about returning to school. These may include happiness, excitement, anxiety, worry, nervousness, confusion and many more. Some of us probably feel that we don't want to return at all! All our feelings are ok. We will all help each other to settle back into school. Some things will be the same, some things will be different. We are all in this together and there are things we can do to keep ourselves and everyone else safe, calm, connected, hopeful and to deal with the challenge (efficacy).

Face coverings
When you come back to school staff will be wearing visors, some staff may also be wearing masks. It is not necessary for students to wear either masks or visors. Whatever choice or decision people make around masks needs to be respected. We all have family members that we are trying to protect. Everybody is doing the best they can. Please remember to be kind.

Feeling Unwell
In the past we may have come to school if we had a cough, a runny nose, a pain in our tummy or just a general feeling of being unwell. It is very important that we do not do this anymore. If we do not feel well we must stay at home. Tell your parents each morning how you are feeling before you come to school. If you start to feel unwell during the school day you must tell your teacher or SNA.
CALM
Many of us might be feeling quite unsettled, deregulated, anxious due to the worldwide pandemic that has caused so many changes in our lives. There are lots of ways we can help ourselves to keep calm.

Feelings and emotions
It is important that we can identify our emotions and how they make us feel, how they affect us, how they make us feel in our bodies. Then we can learn how to manage our feelings and emotions.
